Ferri Meccanica has installed a completely integrated 235 KWP photovoltaic plant on the roof of its factory. This plant is able to produce about 300,000 KW per year.
This biaxial tracking system with a power output of 1062 KWP located in S.Pietro in Guardiano is able to produce about 2,000,000 KW per year. The system consists of 123 trackers. Each tracker has a panel of about 60 square metres which rotates on its own axis (azimuth) and tilts so that it can absorb the sun?s rays at the optimum angle. Each tracker is independent having its own electrical parts, PLC and transformer inverter. The entire mechanical and electrical infrastructure is controlled by a master computer which supervises the entire plant.
